What If...You knew?

Southern California is still moving and shaking.  Below is a link to the USGS map of California which shows quakes in the last few minutes and hours, in REDWhat if you knew you had one week to live? Or that you would not survive a disaster coming your way? Would you change anything in your life? What would you do differently?  Earthquakes and California are like peanut-butter and jelly. Seismologist Pat Abbott and many others, say that we're long over due for the big one.  Here is a list of the quakes which are 3.0 and above.

We'd call everyone we knew and tell them we loved them and why we appreciated having them in our life.

Like Summer Spring Cleaning, we're surveying the camp gear & portable fuel, rotating and restocking food storage, organizing and purging etc. It's going to be a long hot summer, hubby says no he thinks a cool one. Talk to me in September.

Ocean water temp today is 66! Middle of July and most of Southern CA is socked in, chilly and cloudy, a good day for baking a fruit pie and a hot cupa.

I've tried to post an answer to your question "what would you do if you knew you were going to die in a week?" twice already. Each time I get lost in thought and can't post anything.

I give up.

Good question, though.

freeacre, I agree it's not an easy thing to come to terms with. A friend of hubby's used to say, "What would you do differnt--what would you change if you knew you only had a month or so to live? I think nothing...maybe because we're suppose to be doing what we're doing and life is simple in that way. I dunno. It makes you think about your life.
